Drifting Down the Way | House 004 Part One

“I’m not sure I can do this…”

First thing’s first, Rosalie is following in our founder Caleb’s footsteps and getting a job in the Science career track.

She’s at least off to a better start than previous generations.

I am intimately familiar with this area of Willow Creek so we headed to the park to cook some food to last us a little while. We also saw Daisy walking past but didn’t have a chance to greet her.

Fast forward to the end of the day after collecting and fishing… we’re not in such a good place anymore. Sigh.

Rosalie spends her first night sleeping in the little park area on the benches.

Don’t look so worried, honey. The fishing is helping you with your breakthroughs.

At her first day at work, I scoped out the partner potential and there was literally only these two.

Funny story, this person died waaaaaaaay back when Caleb worked here. Ahh, nostalgia.

Her first shift didn’t go well. She spent most of it napping on the chair in the lobby.

She did do some other actual Science-y things.

Then she sat for ages playing video games. Rocket Scientist in the making right here.

I don’t know why I didn’t do this with previous houses, but foundation is FREE if you use the box one. So I set up the beginnings of a house.

After a couple days of working hard (of hardly working) and she at least has all the basics that she needs.

Another nostalgia moment. See the fancy chair? That was Caleb! It’s so nice to see touches of our founding generation even after all this time.

With not so much money coming in as I’d like, I mapped out the foundation of the house. This is another one where I have NO IDEA what the final thing is going to look like!

Urg, woman! Don’t walk INSIDE the building to knock on the door. Rude!

Despite their horrible faces, these two are pretty good friends. Rosalie is getting close to halfway through her young adulthood and Ritvik here is already an adult so I’m not wasting any time here!

They hung out together all day, although most of it was spent on their phones.

Ritvik moved in the next day. He wants to complete the Soulmate aspiration.

Like her mother and father before her, first kiss, proposal, marriage and bump all came in very quick succession.

House 004 is off to a quick start. I’m a little worried about having the baby so soon but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it!
